Coincidence or Causation?

Correlation doesn't equal causation but it doesn't mean it's all a coincidence either.

We all know that data can be manipulated to suit almost any purpose or agenda.

It is done by governments, politicians and corporates all the time. Their aim is to spin something to their advantage or deceive the people relying on the numbers.

However, I cannot recall when the data sets have been as manipulated or used to mislead as has happened through the COVID pandemic.
