They Just Picked a Side
John Roskam from the Institute of Public Affairs highlights the failures of the fourth estate to hold our politicians (and other institutions) to account.
The political class think they can get away with deceiving the public and it builds their thirst for power.
Why do you think politicians feel the need to lie?
Is it because they think it will give them an advantage or that the electorate is so apathetic or uninformed that they will just accept what they are told?
It's probably both and that's why there is no shame among the political class even when they are caught out.
