Losing your marbles is sometimes a valuable life lesson. Why are we denying it to our children?
One of the joys of catching up with family is reminiscing about past experiences you have shared.
During one of these trips down memory lane, somehow we got on to the annual 'marble craze' at school. That was where marbles became all the rage and consumed avery kid at recess and lunchtime.
It only ever lasted a few weeks and disappeared as fast as it popped up.
But more life lessons were learnt in those three weeks than a year of reciting times tables.
