When the justification for public policy is being driven by the minority baying mob, the rationale is on very shaky grounds.
Sometimes I don't know where foolishness begins and stupidity stops.
They appear to be the only appropriate adjectives to describe the rash of policy positions being thrust on the Australian public.
When you abandon principle to appease a baying minority mob, you often get caught in a spiral of death. Any pilot knows such a situation is very hard to recover from.
It may be that the government has started on such a trajectory.
