The Whiners of Woke

There is something strangely satisfying about triggering the irrational rage of leftists. There should be an award for those who outrage them the most over seemingly nothing.

The Whiners of Woke

Twitter is a particularly favourite haunt for any troller of trolls. Just post something honest and sensible that mentions a single trigger word and watch them fire up. Sure, it's a total waste of time but it can be a lot of fun.

What's not so much fun is to read of the power that the perpetual non-gender specific perpetrators of outrage have within some organisations.

The Australian newspaper reports today that staff at book publisher Penguin Random House were reduced to tears and filed anonymous complaints because the publishing firm was preparing to publish a book.

However, it isn't just any book. It's guaranteed to be a best seller because it is by Jordan Peterson.

According to the ubiquitous 'anonymous employee' "Peterson is an icon of hate speech and transphobia and the fact that he's an icon of white supremacy, regardless of the content of his book, I'm not proud to work for a company that publishes him."

Just to put this in perspective, Penguin Random House also publish Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler. Haven't read too many employee complaints about that but they do note that:

Mein Kampf is an evil book, but it remains necessary reading for those who seek to understand the Holocaust, for students of totalitarian psychology and for all who care to safeguard democracy.

They also happen to publish a book by the renowned author (and murderer of hundreds of millions) Mao Tse-Tung. It's refreshing to know that no employees were harmed is spreading the word of this vile communist dictator.

The writings that underpinned the Chinese revolution, introduced by Slavoj Žižek These early philosophical writings underpinned the Chinese revolutions, and Mao’s clarion call to insurrection...

But why stop there. The communists will always have a place at the table with the woke left.

Fidel Castro has only caused angst (and lots of deaths) in Cuba but causes no pain for the hipster virtue signalling employees at Penguin Random House. What an ideal Christmas gift for someone you really, really dislike.

In response to the American administration’s attempt to isolate Cuba, Fidel Castro delivered a series of speeches designed to radicalize Latin American society. As Latin America experiences more...

Of course I could go on but I won't.

This is an example of just how hypocritical and intellectually dishonest these moralising wowsers are.

They don't care about the lunatic ravings of historical madmen but they cry over the common sense of a man who has helped many put context and order in their chaotic lives.

If you want to know exactly what is wrong with the world, this story allows you to understand just how messed up we currently are.

Mass murderers and despots are all good, tellers of inconvenient truths need to be blackballed.

Do us all a favour. Buy the new Jordan Peterson book, if only to trigger even more outrage from the mob.
