Unlucky for Some

If you watched any of the old Omen movies or are au fait with scripture, you'd know that the number 666 has long been considered as the mark of the beast.

There are also other superstitious numbers across various cultures. Sometimes what is considered a good sign in one culture is regarded as bad in another.

The number seven is lucky in many Western nations but unlucky in those influenced by Chinese culture. It's much the same with the number 13.

Even the Australian cricket team has their own superstitions around 13. Their unlucky number is 87. This is based on it been 13 runs from making a century.

It's also the foundation of what should be striking fear into the heart of every American.
